The GOS feels that this website is getting altogether too serious.
For instance, there's too much text and not enough pictures. So here's a picture of geographical and architectural interest, and cultural significance. It is, as well-informed visitors will know, a photograph of the Church of Sacré Coeur in Montmartre, Paris.
The young lady in the foreground, being used by the photographer merely to establish a sense of scale, is in fact Mrs.GOS. But I expect many of you had guessed that already ...
