At times we've been quite rude about Foxy Ken Livingstone in these pages, but a recent quote from him has mellowed our view somewhat.
 
"I don't have a personality," he said. "I'm just a South London oik who's risen above his natural station."
 
Anyone who can say a thing like that can't be all bad, can he?
 
He's still an oik, though, and his congestion charge stinks.
